The transmission and drivetrain connect the engine to the wheels and give you control over your vehicle. They are a crucial part of how your car moves and needs to function at all times.

The drive shaft is a long, spinning metal shaft that connects the transmission to the wheels as it turns them as well as giving them power. Drive shafts can be two different styles: open or enclosed. Open drive shafts are unshielded and contain many moving parts, including ball bearings, which make them susceptible to wear and tear. Enclosed drive shafts protect these components from dirt and debris and help prevent wear and tear by keeping the lubricant inside the tube until it reaches the end of its run.
